About Moyen poodles

The Canadian Kennel Club officially recognizes three sizes of Poodles—Toy, Miniature, and Standard—while many European registries include a fourth, known as Moyen. In Canada, any Poodle over 15 inches is registered as a Standard, and under 15 inches as a Miniature.

Although the CKC doesn’t use the term Moyen, it’s a helpful way to describe that “just right” in-between size—smaller than the typical Standard (often over 20 inches) but larger and sturdier than a Miniature.
