Welcome to Fernridge Poodles, a small in-home Moyen Poodle breeder in British Columbia, located in Langley and serving families across BC and the Lower Mainland.

My name is Christy, and breeding poodles isn’t just a hobby — it’s a lifelong passion. With one or two carefully planned litters each year, I focus on producing healthy, well-socialized Moyen (small Standard) Poodles that grow into loving companions.

While “Moyen” is not an official size category recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club, the term is commonly used to describe smaller Standard Poodles that fall between the Miniature and larger Standard size. Many families searching for a Moyen Poodle breeder in BC are looking for that perfect middle size — athletic, intelligent, and adaptable.

Although all of my poodles are Moyen sized, when paired together they can also produce puppies that mature into the Miniature range. While adult size can never be guaranteed, I am usually able to provide a good estimate of predicted size by around seven weeks of age. Whether you are hoping for a small Standard or a Miniature Poodle, I will gladly help guide you toward a puppy that is the best fit for your preference.

Beyond size, my priority is raising puppies with exceptional temperaments and a strong foundation for family life. Each breeding is carefully planned, and both parents undergo appropriate health testing prior to being bred to help ensure sound structure, strong genetics, and overall wellbeing. Just as much care goes into selecting and preparing the parents as it does into nurturing the puppies from the very beginning.

Every puppy is raised in my home using Puppy Culture methods to build confidence, resilience, and strong social skills from an early age.

My goal is simple: to provide families throughout British Columbia with healthy, well-rounded poodles that reflect the breed’s intelligence, elegance, and charm.
