Puppy agreement

 

1. Purpose

The Buyer agrees that the Puppy is being sold/adopted as a companion pet only and not for breeding purposes. To protect the health of the Puppy and the integrity of the breed, Buyer agrees to have the Puppy spayed/neutered by the agreed timeline below.

2. Spay/Neuter Requirement

The Puppy must be spayed or neutered no earlier than 8 months old (preferably after 1 years old). Males may be left unaltered if preferred but must be agreed upon.

• Proof of the procedure (veterinary certificate or invoice) must be provided to Seller within 10 days of surgery.
• Buyer understands that early spay/neuter could result in the 2 year health warranty being void.

3. No Breeding Clause

• Buyer agrees that this Puppy shall not be bred under any circumstances, whether accidental or intentional.
• Any offspring produced as a result of a breach of this agreement will be the property of the Seller, and Buyer may be subject to penalties including forfeiture of the Puppy.

4. Health & Responsibility

• Buyer agrees to provide regular veterinary care, vaccinations, proper diet, and humane treatment.
• Buyer also agrees to provide regular grooming, exercise and plenty love and attention.

6. Return Policy

If Buyer cannot keep the Puppy for any reason, the Puppy must be returned to the Seller. The Puppy may not be rehomed, resold, or surrendered to a shelter.
